Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival, the room wasn't ready even though we arrived slightly early, and there were remnants of previous guests in Room 202. The option of paying $5 or $10 per person at the time of booking was a bit off-putting. However, the service was incredibly helpful and super friendly, although there seemed to be some pricing discrepancies that management was displeased about. The location was excellent, being right on top of Waterloo village where we were attending a wedding, and next to the lake.
I had a pleasant stay overall at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and very clean. However, there was a slight issue with the bed configuration not matching the booking information provided. The service was professional, with friendly interactions with the staff. The location was convenient for the event I was attending, although there were some concerns with the management's response to feedback. The dining experience fell short of expectations in terms of quality and options.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the room was quiet and clean, there was a lingering smell of old cigarette smoke in the carpet, which made it look a bit grungy. The service was accommodating, allowing us to check out later, but some interactions with the staff felt a bit defensive. The location was convenient for the wedding we attended, right by the lake, but it felt a bit out of the ordinary. The dining experience in the mornings was enjoyable with a variety of delicious options. Overall, it was an okay stay with some room for improvement.
